12 goals allowed in last 2 games wont help that goals per game average
did he have any chances on these?

I know it sounds ridiculous, but he played pretty well. He had 3 great saves against Chelsea. Defoe got one through his legs today, but that happens. He had a couple nice saves today. When a keeper has some nice saves and no huge mistakes, it's hard to blame them. When the other team is basically taking PKs on you (see Bale's three goals) , your job is pretty difficult.

He has 5 clean sheets this year
Looks like he is 'allowing' 1.88 goals/game
ETA not blocked penatlies... woops

The Chelsea could have easily been 11-0 had Guzan not come up with a few saves. If teams are netting 6+ goals against you its generally not just the keeper unless he's blind.

Yeah I talked about this with someone today. I watched the Chelsea-Villa highlights last night and Guzan actually played pretty well. Could have been 11 or 12. Their D was that non-existent.

Chelsea legitimately could've had 9. He made a great save on a Piazon PK. Villa's back line is just THAT bad.

He didn't play bad against Chelsea and what little I watched of the match today, he wasn't poor. His defense is letting guys walk in on goal. Villa's d is in POOR form.

Should allow for my Swans to EXPLODE for 2 goals next week

Villa are getting destroyed by injuries at the back and Chelsea and Spurs exploited the youth at the back(herd is a 20 odd CM trying to play CB shows how bad it is)
Guzan has played well all season and in both games made some cracking saves, don't think he had much of a chance in many of the goals, he still comes out in a good light imo
