what? I've been around him a lot and have never even remotely felt that. In fact, I saw him downtown Saturday night and he approached me and we talked for a bit. He told me that he was out celebrating because the Wiz had just called him and he was flying out the next morning. People can say something racist, but it doesn't mean they're a racist. Every person in the world has said something racist before, doesn't mean every person is racist.

I'm not friends with him, but I just checked his page. Didnt read every post he's made, but there was some post around election time about voting for Obama because he's black. It was a repost that he just copied and pasted. It was also about 4 paragraphs of bullshite that nobody would want to read, so I'll refrain from posting it.

NEGATIVE...I know the guy personally and he is far from a racist...im sure you probably said something you shouldn't have said around election time...there were plenty of dumbass comments posted no matter who u support..that's just how it went...GTemp is far from a racist and I know because he is a close friend of mine...stop starting rumors

Spent some time with him right after he got cut from Heat, never got this impression for what it's worth. Good for him.

I don't know Garrett, but I used to enjoy talking to his dad when I would see him around town. He is a nut. He would mock me regularly for eating salad, "rabbit food" as he called it. He was very knowledgeable about LSU athletics as a whole and always had inside scoop on what was going on.
Glad to hear Garrett is going to get another shot.
