I have heard several people say this and I "get it". Like I said above its not a bad movie by any means and has its funny moments, but its one of those movies that is terribly overrated by the fan boys and its "cool" to say you loved it.

I think this was the key to this movie. If you went in thinking it would be Family Guy, you were never going to like it.
I however went in thinking it would be more Wilfred, and less Family Guy, and was greatly happy.

Move seemed bad from the trailers, so I went in with low expectations and left unimpressed. Wasn't a bad movie, but it wasn't good either.

I fell asleep with 30 minutes left to go. I felt it tried way too hard to be funny and over the top. Maybe it was the whole talking bear thing

nah. Was just one long Family Guy episode IMO. Had it's funny moments but I won't be sad if I never have to watch it again.

I enjoyed it only because my dog, Gus, talks to us like Ted did. I could identify with Ted on many levels.
