This is the link I got from the theater's website. it has it at 86%, but with far less reviews.

At any rate, it's a very good movie. The audience I saw it with applauded at the end of the movie.

ETA: And for fans of the books, Crusie is good in the role of Jack Reacher. You just have to let go of your image of Reacher from the books and go with the flow.

Then I'll probably live the movie bc I've never read the book so i have no notions in height. Plus i like Cruise. His movies are always entertaining. Anyone who disagrees is a closed minded sack of old crap.

I don't know who is in charge of marketing this film, but the previews make it look terrible.

If you judge a movie before you see it based on what critics think you need to reevaluate. Audience meter should be the most important barometer to the average moviegoer. Critics are pretentious as shite.

Some of them are.

I was going to disagree, but the more I thought about it, you're probably correct with audience meter and average moviegoer. Occasionally, though, some of us are looking for something in addition to entertainment value alone. And there have been plenty of immensely popular movies that I think are pieces of lowest common denominator crap.

I was entertained... Knew nothing about the books beforehand. And though I think Cruise is a bit of a bell end in real life, I don't really keep up with him and that doesn't stop me from enjoying movies he is in...

I don't understand this at all. He isn't a bad actor at all, and has even had a couple stellar performances in his career. Why would you avoid one of his movies?

I'm not seeing it because I feel like Cruise just exudes copious amounts of douche.

Now, I've enjoyed a couple of his movies, but I just can't get that out of my head.

To be honest, I'm not sure who oozes more douche.......Cruise, or this guy....

On screen or in real life?

Cuz I don't get that vibe on screen, and I could give a shite what he does in his personal life. I enjoy his movies.

Real life. ...and when I'm watching a movie of his, I feel like that's the person I'm watching. Not the character.

Just a personal issue, obviously.

I saw it yesterday and liked it. I wouldn't call it great but it was entertaining with lots of action and comedy mixed in. I have read the majority of the books and they changed a good bit from One Shot to the movie. It's not my favorite series of books and in fact I reread One Shot a few months ago because I couldn't remember any of the specifics. And I like Cruise his name alone won't sell me a ticker but it is a check in the plus column usually.

Say what you want about him but:
A Few good men, Legend, Top Gun, Minority Report, Rain Man, Born on the 4th of July, days of Thunder, interview with the Vampire,Jerry Maguire, collateral, magnolia. All great films IMO. Dude works his arse off. I wasn't too thrilled about Reacher but I'll definitely check it out now.

I just saw it and it was definitely entertaining. Not bad like the critics have been saying. I have never read the novels.

For ppl who are hating on cruise and won't see his movies, you missing out on great films.

Saw this yesterday and enjoyed the hell out of it. It was fun and entertaining. The director also wrote The Usual Suspects and wrote and directed The Way of the Gun. If you liked Way of the Gun, you'd like this.
