Just finished season 1 of American Horror Story

TBH, i feel more disturbed after season 1 than i do after watching the first half of season 2. This series is really really disturbing. I felt uncomfortable after I found out what Tate did. Season 1 makes Season 2 and the Walking Dead look like saturday morning cartoons.

it's weird cause the more people saying it's fricked up make me want to watch it more and more. I love the horror genre though

If you're a horror fan, you've seen worse, but it's got it's moments. It's definitely fricked up for major TV.

The way you find out Violet is dead caught me completely off guard. Wasn't expecting that because obviously I thought she survived eating all those pills, but it got me thinking.
How would she not know she is dead? I'm pretty sure ghosts don't eat(I realize they tried to address this by saying she wasn't hungry at the table) or go to the bathroom. So she wasn't hungry or had to go to the bathroom since she was dead for 16 days I think before she found out?
And she never had any desire to go outside the house before Tate tried to get her to "commit suicide".

Agreed S1 was disturbing as hell. Crazy how it's on TV.
Concerning the end**
My big question was the baby. Was the first baby actually dead (the non-devilish one)? I first thought the ghost doctor just told her that the baby was dead to give it to his wife, and was wondering how in the hell they would feed it. It makes more sense if the baby is actually dead, just not how I perceived it first.
How did y'all perceive it?

I took it that the baby was dead cause when it came out the doctor said it was still born and leading up to the birth, they were saying how the devilish baby was taking all the nutrients.

The one thing I would have liked, would have been an explanation on why the house became what it was. Like something more than murders happening there all the time. And I wanted to know why the basement was so important, and what that creature was down there.
