One of the few people in the press I can tolerate. ABC really misused him, he would have been a better choice for the nightly news than Sawyer. Good pick-up for CNN.

If you mean Morgan, Tapper will have a weekday late afternoon program, so not replacing the Brit bigmouth.

Was hoping for a format change with Morgan.. More of a real journalistic show with a real reporter asking real questions

Agree. I look for him to start on day 1 as long as he has a good camp. I think he can have a positive impact on day 1 for the organization and could even have them back in the playoff hunt sooner than later!

For the short term. And if you are a part of the media and you are talked about because of how awful you are, it's not a career boost because it hurts the network's brand and credibility. There is a lot to be weighed in that respect.
The fact is, there is probably are large group that agree with Piers and think he's great. If that group is big enough, that is what will keep him his job.
I'll say it again, I love the guy being on there. He is an idiot and independents and neutral persons can see it and are turned away by it.

That would assume people actually watch the show.. Many don't including myself. His reputation and tactics were well known before his move to CNN.
