However, I do remeber when Rush said, one of the other black analysts (Jackson, Deon, Irvin, cant't remeber which one) said that he has a point. Like he was agreeing to an extent on what he was trying to convey.

Probably Jason Whitlock....

The double standard is humorous. What Limbaugh said was not nearly as bad as this clown.

That's some BS. Rush gets fired and this joke of an employee gets to keep his job.

Yea RG3 acts white or is a cornball black because he isn't a thug? He is smart and wears his pants on his waste. Found a white gf who dated him before he was a big shot? This is just what it looks like for anyone who is raised by two parents in the middle class. He ain't trying to act white, he is just being a decent human.

Limbaugh's white, and called a black quarterback overrated.

it was a little more than just calling him overrated.

and lol at anyone crying that the Liberal media pigeonholed him. That fat prick did that to himself.

What Parker said was nowhere near as bad as Limbaugh. Remember Limbaugh made racially stereotypical remarks about McNabb and African-Anerican qbs. Also have to give Parker leeway because he's African-American. I doubt Rob Parker is racist against his own race.

So this Marcia Keegan chick oversees First Take and states ESPN has "taken appropriate disciplinary measures with the personnel responsible for these failures."

Did she have no authority to stop the re-airing of that show or is she punishing herself?

Limbaugh said McNabb was overrated by the media because he's black.

Parker said RG3 is a cornball brother.

Not the same.

I do agree that Parker should be punished more. But Limbaugh simply could have said McNabb was overrated and left it at that....

Parker had questions if RG3 was a Tiger Woods type who didnt identify with black culture
(understand there is a difference here...Arthur Ashe was educated, well spoken as well..but stood for many African American rights...Parker had concerns about RG3 not identifying himself as an African American enough. Parker just came off as an idiot in articulating his point. Not that I agree or think he's even right. Cause he wasnt. But after looking over the vid enough times he was articulating his point horribly.)

frick it they both should have been fired.

so it's ok to have black on black crime at ESPN, but any white comments about black athletes get you permabanned.

Aparently 'cornball brother' refers to blacks who are intelligent, speak English well, and could make a living outside of sports....

He didn't say he didn't mean it, he just said sorry for saying it on TV.

The best part was all the ridicule other black players directed at Parker.

Arian Foster (I think...might have him mixed up with someone else) tweeted "I'm working on my blackness today"

bullshite. He called out the media (which ESPN is a part of) for trying to being too eager to celebrate a black quarterback and jumping the gun on McNab by praising him for being a much better quarterback than he was.

McNabb at that point in his career had been to three straight NFC title games and one year after this idiot was fired advanced to the Super Bowl. Limbaugh was dead wrong about McNabb and ESPN was showing love to a player who was on fire more than anyone else in the game at that time.

Can you imagine the outrage if Mike and Mike criticized a white athlete for marrying a black woman. WOW
