I did a thread on this prolly a year ago and posted that same link. Very cool indeed and the Allman Bros. link at the bottom recalling their old free shows at City Park is some great history.......

They were very loyal to the Warehouse and the kids of N.O......

The best shows I remember:

UFO w/ Michael Schenker on Lead Guitar
Robin Trower
Marshall Tucker on New Years Eve

many more.....

Never went. Heard some scary stories about that place in the late 70's, 80's. Was supposed to go see Angel, but never made it. Still pissed about it.

Holy crap, that is really cool.

This was before my time, but looking over the list of shows is just amazing.

I believe that December 12, 1970, concert by The Doors was their last performance before Morrison died in '71.

If only you still had it......Man, I have a ton of old ticket stubs. My kids gave me a desk with a glass top and put all the stubs under the glass. The 70's, what a fun time to grow up.......

That is so awesome. I have almost all of my ticket stubs (concerts & sporting events) for the past 32 years on some cork boards in chronological order.
