The O-T is flooded with threads on the daily for phone advice, web advice, Directv stuff, etc. Can we get a dedicated tech board for 2013?

Argument for a Tech Board.
Tech Board request discussion.
Continuing campaign for a tech board.
There is a dedicated board on this site for most major topics that would typically populate a newspaper or news site - politics, sports, entertainment, money - except for technology.
I think it's been demonstrated that tech topics are exceptionally popular and saturate the OT on a daily basis. It would certainly be a welcomed and much needed addition to the site.

i was told im about to get my admin status back. I think this may be a precursor to the tech board.

This. I don't even think fitness is the 2nd most needed board. I would say there are more travel threads than fitness.

I would live to have a tech and science boars and love to setup a recurring/weekly thread.
Hell, I'd be willing to write up rules for the science and tech board aand be a quasi-moderator.
