I cried when I saw Les Miserables in 1988 at the Kennedy Center when this song was sung:

"I Dreamed A Dream"

Driving to court yesterday I listened to this and found myself crying:

The Pretenders "I'll Stand By You"

This can get me:

REM "Everybody Hurts"

Then again, there is a lot of music moves me to tears.

i have personal reasons why i went to tears over this, but it's pretty awesome if you've never heard it. it's short, and her delivery is something else. 2011

The only REM song that really gets me is from that same album

FindThe River

The other song about loss and death that gets me is very old

No Depression

Not me personally, but Fleetwood Mac drummer Mike Fleetwood was crying during this performance.

I was brought to tears when Trombone Shorty performed O Holy Night on the TV show Live from the sunset strip. I had recently moved from New Orleans and I was decompressing after working after Katrina and it was just a beautiful version

I'm not a crier, but sometimes songs make my hair stand on end.

Karen O's voice does it to me all the time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH9_lresvCs So many U2 / Bono haters out there and a cover to boot. And it doesn't make me cry. But frick it. It's still pretty good IMO.
