With these huge games early, we are an upset away from seeing a team without a huge name in the final. I really hope that Celtics finds the magic. But I don't think they have the speed to win the Champions League.

Celtic is the biggest name in Europe.

They would do this. Everyone wants to see Ronaldo going back to Old Trafford

Schalke got really lucky. They have been playing like wet arse lately and they draw Galatasary.

The Bayern vs Arsenal games ought to be fun.

Probably moreso for you than I, I'm not too optimistic about our draw with you lot

Agreed on Schalke, they lucked out big time.

I think affelay will be back for them by then, their skid has coincided with his absence. I don't understand them, they have such talent but have been subpar as of late. Huntelaar also stopped scoring goals about the same time affelay went out, so that's hurt them a bit too.

If Gustavo is back by then, I think Bayern makes it past Arsenal. I don't think it'll be a wide margin or anything, but if Gustavo suffers any setback, it may get tricky. I don't know how I feel about van Buyten starting in the CL, so I'd like to see Javi start at CB and have Goose at CM with Schweinsteiger.

Luis Gustavo may be a good candidate for most underrated player.

How is FC Bayern going to stop this?

They can only hope to contain Gervinho.

For the knockout rounds, I believe all eligible players had to be registered by the last day of September.

Interesting. That makes sense though. It should just be if you are cup tied though, imo.

Won't he be gone for the ANC?

All amazing matchups. All. Except for the Celtic and AC Milan ties, all are toss-ups.

Real Madrid will play well in the CL, as will Arsenal.
