So, Vita Heaven happened again (Sony Japan event dedicated to Vita).
Lots of news and stuff:
Both vita models will be priced at ¥19,980 starting on Feb 28th
Free week of PS+ (valid between 2/28-3/18)
New Vita Color: Ice Silver out 2/28 (There is a PSO2 bundle too)
Toukiden (PSV/PSP) has cross platform play (Demo in April/ Game out in Summer)
Valhalla Knights 3 (Marvelous SQLQ) out on 5/23.
Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki out later this year - LINK
Gundam Breaker has Gundam customizing. Out later this year
God Eater 2 is a big step forward over God Eater Burst. Vita version graphics improved over previous title. - LINK
New Dragon's Crown trailer - LINK
New Soul Sacrifice Trailer - LINK
FFX HD is still a thing (showed new character models/other improvements)
That price drop is essentially a $200 price tag. Hope it transfers over here as well.

I cant wait to see how the Vita will be utilized with the PS4. Hope that is a big part of it.

Most definitely. I know remote play will continue to be supported, and I'd love to see how it'll integrate together.
Also, I'm finally in Heaven (P4) myself.

Some good news on the digital sales front for Vita.
Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Vita titles are doing well on the PSN store.

and coming from a part-time marketer of an apple app company.. (I own an android device, so let's just keep from going into the fanboy crap please) we develop for Apple, even though it has about half the install base - because of game sales. If the VITA can prove over and over again, that even though the numbers are low - the sales are there, expect much much better games!

P.S: Not to mention.. I still think we see a major surge in console sales over the next 12 months.. 24 months etc. because of the ps4.
(same thing could be applied to the quality of games on the xbox and ps3, even though the wii has 4 times the market share.. if people don't buy games, it doesn't matter)

Vita is closing in on the end of its first year on the market. It wasn't a good one sales-wise, but I think Sony is trying to place the price drop with a big game to maximize the effect it has one the sales (from a PR standpoint).
There's a lot to announce and show though. We didn't know about AC Liberation or CoD before E3, so there's a lot more in the making that we don't even know exists yet.

Extremely exciting afternoon!
I won 6 straight games, 2 of them to a guy in the top 100, first game we went to the tie breaker, he was about to win, score was 6 - 3, I rallied with 5 straight points and won. 2nd time we were in the 4th set, I could win the game by winning that set, we dueced 23 times with me finally getting a cross shot at the perfect time and winning!

Grats! I'm on my way in Persona 4! Beat Heaven and halfway through November. Leveling Tower is a giant hassle though.
