In the international game, where you don't get as much practice time, you have to be comfortable in your position. It wouldn't be smart to assume Chandler could make that change.
Bingo. Williams is our best option as a CDM. My formation looks like this at the moment.
4-3-3
---------------Timmy-------------
Dolo----Cameron----Boca------Fabian
--------------Bradley--------------
----------Zusi------Dempsey--------
Landy----------Jozy---------------Gatt
Going forward this is something I'd like to test. Obviously Chandler would eventually replace Dolo and Boca would need to be replaced, but that will come in time. Also, Stu Bear would replace Zusi when healthy, or Dempsey could take Gatt's spot and it could be a midfield of Bradley, Holden, and Zusi.

I feel like we almost always would need a CDM to help the back line.

Bradley is good enough defensively and has a high enough work rate to help the back line. My hope is that Gonzalez or another young guy steps up and eliminates that need.
