You're gonna love the Four Roses... I'll be hunting for the small batch '13 LE soon. What did it set you back?

$100 shipped.

I have a couple of bottles of 2012 Four Roses Small Batch limited Edition and I am looking forward to comparing to the Single Barrel Limited Edition.

dang, wish i had a bottle to swap you. assuming the recipe for '12 is not the same as '13? I know the '13 is OBSK but not sure on the '12.

last time I saw there they had 3 different Four Roses Single Barrel selections that were all awesome. The barrel strength was the best though. If they still have any of the 3 I would recommend them. Only other one I've tried was their Knob Creek SB Reserve selection which was very good too...

I confirmed a store in my area is going to get Elijah Craig barrel proof on 8/5 2nd release. If they get several I will see if I can help out the regulars here.

Considering Blanton's is supposedly just older Elmer, I've never been much of a fan of it. Like Elmer though... With the Blanton's it just feels like something is missing.

Did you ever get your egg table finished? If so, how did it turn out?

I did get it finished a good while back. It came out ok not great though. You can see a corner of it in my avi.. I'll probably strip it and refinish it in the fall though. I applied multiple coats of the marine waterlox, should have done several coats with regular waterlox and one final coat with the marine. Too much resin
