Your liquor cabinet is EXACTLY like what I want. Where'd you find it?

It is an old pie safe that has been in the family for multiple generations...

Got mine in Ruston. Bought the last two they had yesterday. Hear that the supply is no longer meeting demand at bourbon subreddit, so I'm stocking up on this one too.

I'll have to check out some local antique stores.

Most of the time, when I'm enjoying a good glass of whiskey, I'll often pour it over a couple cubes of ice. That allows me to get the initial full flavor with a hint of chill then enjoy the rest of it chilled a little diluted due to the ice melting.

Thanks for the advice, and this is exactly how I prefer mine

Dr. Beardface thank you for your recommendations, as you can see I'm now an Elmer fan as well. My local store now stocks it, but can't keep it on the shelf so I buy a few whenever they have it.

Looks like you're well stocked for now

Anyone familiar with the Bourbon selection at Whole foods? Need to run over there at lunch and was wondering if I should just stop at Churchills or if I will be able to find a good bottle at Whole Foods...

Ended up going by Churchill's at lunch. Picked up a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel and a bottle of Elmer T Lee. Bourbon time at the gmrkr household tonight!

About to open my first bottle of Blanton's

As I said earlier in the thread I'm really a noob at trying to distinguish tastes. I've finished some 1792 and Eagle Rare 10 recently and can definitey tell the difference between the two. For those who have had both, how would you describe the difference?

I recently picked up a few bottles of Angels Envy. Not bad so far, but not worth the price imo. I'm glad I tried it, but there are better bourbons for $40 a fif. I would recommend if you can get it cheaper.

I use the ice ball molds all the time. They are great for cooling your bourbon but don't melt as fast and water it down. I also used the larger ice cube molds and they also work well but melt a little faster.

For the life of me I can't find Four Roses anywhere in the Hammond area. I just picked up some Bakers.

Update from the post last night....I really liked the Blanton's.

Bought my first bottle of Blanton's today. I'm very proud.

The store didn't have Elmer T Lee, so when I'm ready to buy that I might have to do some hunting
