Reed is WAY WAY overrated and barely has his name called.

Both of these guys would have been better CBs than being on the offensive side of the ball. And I'm convinced that at least Reed would have been there had he come to LSU.

This whole Louisiana kids having to stay in Louisiana is a full blown retard now. I can see how important it was a few years ago when LSU relied on those top guys to come in and help out the program, but now.......they can look elsewhere.
can't say i'd agree with this for 2014, however.

That's what I don't understand.

You just want them at LSU. Why? Because of where they're from?

McKnight was a fumbling machine.
Reed is WAY WAY overrated and barely has his name called.
Robinson plays, sure. But where would he fit on the OL right now?

LSU lost those guys and it goes back to what I was saying. LSU found guys to take those spots and didn't miss a beat.

didn't you see the part where I said they didn't pan out so it worked for the best... it was disappointing to lose them at the time. Are you being a count because I told you to quit being such a pussy?

There are must haves and there are guys that can be replaced.

Fournette is a must have and it will sting considering the way LSU is handling recruiting him and putting all the eggs in his basket.

There ARE special occasions, I agree. But MOST of the time, they are replaceable.

Just trying to process the line of thinking.

I have a lot of pride in the state, and a lot of pride in LSU. There is no school in the country that can offer more to a top tier football player than LSU can (some are on the same level, but none are higher). So when a home state kid turns down an LSU offer to go somewhere else, it's frustrating and it's easy to get upset.

For OOS kids, most of the time, they can't go anywhere in state that is as good as what LSU has to offer.

I hope Beckwith is wearing purple and gold. I like him and think he could do great things for the Tigers.

You're the one getting defensive. Stop crying. I'm just trying to understand the thought process.

just I'd like to have them here. Same with McKnight, Reed, and Robinson (though it does seem when guys leave they usually don't do much).

then add "at the time" to your statement.

You're right. They don't do much when they do leave. That seems to have become the norm. Hence the misunderstanding of the overreactions on this board.

Agreed. But why get upset over someone that obviously doesn't care. I guess I'm different that way. If they want to leave and turn their back on their home, I say frick those guys. They didn't want to be there anyhow. Why sulk?

I've said it many of times as well. There's absolutely nothing Alabama can offer that LSU can't (NB4Sabanchampionshipderp)

After reading this thread it is abundantly clear that he is going to commit on Jan 4. to either Lsu or Bama. But then he is still going to make an offical visit to Lsu. Ugh?? oK i dont think it's abundantly clear. Might just want to delete this thread since it really doesn't provide any more info than we already knew.

its a little concerning that the two best players from BR the last 2 seasons may end up at Alabama...

its not that he might end up there, its tards just saying "OMG he's a goner!" just because they are shell shocked from last year. Same dudes who freak when their wife leaves the house after what she did with that male dancer in 2009.

Alabama feels like a second home

As long as it's a 'second' home...and LSU is his first home, we're all good.
Of course, he could always cancel his LSU official IF he commits to the bad guys & NS gets upset.
And all this conjecture is, as always, just what we think we know. It's quite possible CLM & Frank do know, or have a very strong feeling. I'd think their looking for someone else @ that position would be a big clue, if they think he's NOT coming.
And it does work both ways. We got Kwon from right under their nose. And Wiliford, and Dodd has transfered away from them to us. Of course, none of them will amount to anything.

Of course, I hope he does!
