Morning guys....

So I found out the best way to get rid of a Pyrex dish last night.

My wife was keeping my niece and nephew yesterday for my brother and his wife. My sister in law came and picked them up at around 5. After they leave, my wife decides we are going to have left overs from the night before so she gets them out of the fridge and turns on the oven to heat it up.

While doing this she decides to put some green beans in a pot and heat them up and also make a fresh pitcher of tea. So she gets the beans warming up and fixes the water and throws in the tea bags and turns the stove eye on.

While all of this is going on, I'm trying to get into a game with some of ya'll that were on but no luck so I start playing with some randoms and have the headphones up full blast and the wife is on the phone with her sister.

Everything is fine and then I hear an explosion that sounded like a gun shot. I throw off the headphones and my wife says "what was that?". I jump up and run in the kitchen and there is glass from one end of the kitchen to the other and the left overs were smoking and sizzling on the stove top.

Looked and she had turned the wrong eye on for the tea and instead turned on the eye that the pyrex was sitting on (turned it on high might i add). I spent an hour with my shop vac sucking up glass and then she tried to get the rest. I'm glad she wasn't in there when it happened or it could have been worse. Talk about scaring the crap out of ya.

Anybody going to be on tomorrow? Wife is going shopping all day and my folks are taking my daughter, so it's staycation time for this guy. Marathon gaming it is...maybe even some playoff football.

I should be on at some point tomorrow. I know we will be FINALLY taking down all the christmas decorations and all that. Other than that, I don't see myself doing anything important enough to keep me away from gaming

It's about the same for me. The last time I played it, I couldn't get into the new maps. So i went back to the old maps and was playing Operation Firestorm and was destroying people left and right. If I could get a grasp on the new maps, i might enjoy it more.

We got ours down Wednesday. I hate how the freaking tree does not want to go back in the box the same way it came out. It always ends up looking like I threw a fat person in there and taped them up.
