Friend in Texas is coming back with a few bottles wondering how everyone likes it. Is it or will it be available in BR?

There is plenty at my beer shop in Lake Chas. I thought it was OK. Not the best from SA but certainly not the worst.

Alright thanks, so it sounds as if it's not as sought after as Pumpkinator.

No.. If he could grab some of their ICON beer before it makes it here that'd be a hot item but I'm sure it's a pretty good beer.

Icon will be around for a while, no need to rush on it

Icon's a good beer but it's not a limited release.

I picked up 3 or 4 bottles from Matherne's. It was ok...not something I would go out of my way to seek out, but certainly drinkable.

Right on. Sailing Santa is not bad but is not Great.

Icon is a belgian style Pale Ale and its pretty decent representation of the style. I had some last week. It is solid but won't blow you away. No rush on that, as stated above it will be around a while. the ICON series is going to be a quarterly seasonal of different styles each time and they will make more of it than divine reserve.

IF you are wanting some SA beer now, get your hands on as much endeavor as you can get.

I like last year's Sailing Santa better than this year's version. It's still a good beer, but I thought it was really good last year.

I thought it was pretty good, actually. I don't know why the disapproval, or all the "meh" it's getting. I do realize, however, that many of you love Endeavor, and the 1 endeavor i had wasn't very good.

I'm not saying its meh. I'm saying its pretty goodl. not exceptional. I love SA and drink a lot of their beer. I actually enjoy some of their standard line from time to time as well as their Ocktoberfest. I feel strongly about supporting the local brands. I drink plenty of SA, Karbach, and SS. Can't wait till Fort Bend Brewing Company starts putting theirs out.

Try Endeavor again. I thought that with my first bottle. Make sure you get a fresh one too.

Haven't tried this year's Sailing Santa yet. I know they added some spice to it, so it's not just a blend of the Elyssa and Christmas Ale like it was last year.

Picked up one bottle. Curious to see with the cinnamon does to it.

I thought it tasted great, and if i had more room in my fridge i'd buy a couple. It's one of the prettier looking pours i've had. I took a picture on photobucket, but it's on my phone and not sure how to upload it. Work filters at work prevents me from using it on the computer.
