Make like a ULL fan and go buy an East Carolina shirt to wear for the game.

Some guy around us did it a few years ago to one of their games against Mid Tenn St. If you are okay with their taunting and attempts to get you removed from the stadium, go for it.

The Tigers aren't playing in the Dome, so you won't be supporting them. Mostly you'll probably just be looking lame like every person that wears a 3rd party shirt when LSU and some other team are playing in Tiger Stadium.
UL fans can be a little uptight though, so it could be fun if you have some backup support... Or it could turn into 60 minutes of heckling about the 0-21 loss in the Dome to Bama last year and the Chicken Bowl appearance this year.

Considering I never went to UL for undergrad but rather LSU, I don't have any apparel and don't feel like buying any. I have alot of friends that go to UL so I think most will understand. In fact, most of those friends are actually bigger LSU supporters than UL.

When I lived in Alabama in 2010 all the bammers wore gamecock gear the day of the sec title and Oregon gear for the bcs game. Then again bama and Aub is an actual rivalry.

My friends did this last year....they go to that crappy bowl every year just for the hell of it. They wore their LSU gear, just like they do every year, and said they caught all kinds of hell from the USL people. Said it was miserable.

Remind them of that every time they open their mouth to heckle an LSU fan.

Dude just wear a neutral shirt. No point in going look to start shite. I graduated from ULL, but have been an lsu fan all my life. I don't really care for ULL one bit, but going out and wearing lsu to their bowl game is a bit over the top.
When I went to school there I wore lsu clothes on occasion to class, and took shite from even professors, but I own a lot of lsu clothes so that's what I wore.
I have gone to two ULL tailgates. One was against southern. LSU was playing away later that night so I went for the atmosphere to tailgate. I wore my lsu stuff bc lsu was playing that day. I tailgated and a few of my buddies went into the game...I didn't. I went another time (after lsu played arky on the Friday) just to tailgate with friends. I wore neutral clothes and had a good time with them. No point in going to try to start shite...(I did have a dude want to fight me on the day I was wearing lsu at the ULL/southern tailgate. He was walking out the port o potty. I paid him no mind, and by the time I got out he was getting beat up by someone else and arrested).
Either way...this is a big event for them. Let them go have their moment and don't try to make them feel like the little brothers on this one day.
