Look awesome, apparently they have had issues with shifting the point of impact of your rounds though. Sold mine.

I have a 14" Fortis on one of my ARs and its badass. Never had an issue with it changing point of impact. I'd buy another Fortis rail in a heartbeat. that SBR build is gonna be sick with that rail.

I'm building my 300BLK SBR this afternoon, will post pics when done

Mine is 300 BLk as well. 10.5" barrel will be ordered as soon as stamp comes back. Shouldn't be more than 2 weeks.

Then comes the suppressor.

I went with the 8-inch CMMG barrel. Have a 12-inch Seekins rail which will cover my SDN-762. Gotta pick up lower from engraver at lunch and put it all together. Form 1 took about 6 weeks total for me.

Damn. I may throw it on my 556 and see if I have this issue. Kind of sucks bc I really like the look and feel of it.

Not sure why you would make a lightweight build like that and then ruin it with the EOTech and magnifier

It's way over 5.7lbs they are listing anyway, they don't include the iron sights, vfg and eotech crap. I think mine's 5lbs 5oz or 5.3lbs without iron sights, sling, flashlight and vfg. I'll double check in a minute.

The troy sights are 3.3oz combined (1.56 front, 1.76 rear), Eotech magnifier is 11.9oz and eotech EXPS2 is 11.9oz as well.

For comparison, here is my functional lightweight build (had to have light, sling, and BUIS). It comes in at 5lbs 13oz currently, will be adding aimpoint t1 and scalarworks mount for another 4.35oz total. Which will bring it from 5.8lbs or 5lbs 13.1oz (93oz) to 6.06lbs (97oz). I can shed a couple ounces I believe to get it under 6lbs.

Here is a similar gun to the one in the article for $1480 without iron sights
