Id love to, I want to join a hunting club this year. There are a couple around $1000 and one of these guns is going to fund it. I try not to put any money into my guns anymore, just trade/sell what I already have for the flavor of the week. Keeps me out of trouble with the wife, and makes sure everything gets shot. Only one safe queen in my house, the MIL's service revolver from NOPD.

I'm so glad I own the hunting camp and land. I would never spend over 1k on the chance to see something.

re: Official AR-15 thread

What is the OB's thoughts on a S&W sport model AR-15? My father-in-law bought one because he thought it was a good price, and he thought either me or my wife's cousin might want it. He already bought himself a different one, but asked me over the weekend if I wanted to buy this one from him. I think he paid around $600 for it. My wife thinks we're all crazy but i'm thinking about buying it from him. He'd sell it to me for what he paid.

re: Official AR-15 thread

Has anyone ever purchased from gunbuyer.com? I can't tell if this is too good to be true. Colt le6920 socom with 100 rds of ammo, $1099. I've read some favorable reviews but there isn't much out there.

Thanks

PDA, primary, DSG, and several others have really good Father's Day sales going on now or starting Thursday.

Especially PSA.

Go get em.

Say you have only $800 to spend on a new AR15. Which one are you going to get?

I got the Premium Midlength PSA upper for 269
BCG 89 (premium)
CH ~20
Lower 189 (but with magpul)
PMAG 10
MBUS 55
Midlength MOE handguard 30

and it runs amazing. eats tula like it's nothing

Think that's around 650 for milspec, CL 1:7 FN barrel and Magpul.

That is how you do it, might upgrade the BCG if anything and add an ALG ACT trigger. That would put you right at $800 for a really good rifle.

trigger.

will definitely upgrade that later on. I wanna get some decent optics on it. Looking at either the 3x32 or 3-9x40 Nikon P223 scopes. I think it's 130 for the 3x32 and 190 for the 3-9x40.

question on the BCG. What's the difference from a mil spec BCG to a "better" bcg?

re: Official AR-15 thread

Here it is. Finally after weeks of researching and waiting on deals.

Got two feet in there also!

No CTR stock but for 189 for the entire lower with magpul already on it, I ain't complaining.
