SG,

Just FYI, my 300blk barrel slid right into the mur without even having to push

Guess it was the AAC barrel then. Couldn't believe how tight it was, not even sure if I could remove it if I had to.

tiddles,

We're you surprised by the 2014 mur? They revamped their logo. I got mine in quick!

so i ordered an AAC SDN-6 for my 300blk build last friday.

Melissa at jim's firearms informed me that i would be receiving a free 300BLK Handi-rifle along with it.

i drove over yesterday and picked it up. definitely made the sting of the purchase and the oncoming wait a little less painful!

this thing is TINY! i threw on one of my scopes with a super long shade for giggles.

Thoughts on this 20" upper?

LINK

I'm looking for an AR that I scope shoot at distance with a new 4x12 Nikon scope coming in. My other 2 ARs just have red dots. Figured a 20" would be perfect for long range shooting.

Thoughts?

Do. It.

i'm a better shot with my M&P than i am my bushmaster and DPMS, (i do like the DPMS better though, don't ask why)

That does seem to be a really good price. Don't know if the picture is accurate with what you get but it looks to me like
It doesn't have a forward assist. Not
Sure if that bothers you or not

Don't really post too much but I have read many of the pages in this thread. Been wanting an ar for about 3 years and finally broke down and bought one, S&W M&P15OR place I bought it from even threw in a a cheap BSA holo sight for free. Think I did ok for entry level.

I noticed that and it's also missing the dust cover. Still it seems like a good price for a solid weapon.

My how a a fee months have changed things.

AR peeps, need some advice & possible pro's/con's about this lower:
LINK
I'm interested in putting together something more utilitarian than keepsake. Also, the gun will probably see use once or twice a year, not going shooting every weekend. Thanks in advance for the tips!

Personally I wouldnt buy it, since its polymer, but to each's own.

You could pick up a forged lower wLPK for about that same price or for a few dollars more.

Just my opinion though.

I agree with the above poster. Keep an eye out for built lowers from Palmetto State Armory. I don't have any experience with polymer. I just go by what I've read.
