Just curious. What was the price point on the can? 800ish? Did you buy locally? Online? I see them on silencershop.com.

I was thinking of doing the trust thing. I'm about to put in paperwork for my ar pistol to sbr. And want to put in for sbr and can for the 300blk. Biggest thing is to not tie anything up if something were to happen and the class 3's needed to be passed down. Definitely wouldn't want there to be any hiccups.

My favorite used to be LA Gun but they just raised their prices to $25.

Yhe forum favorite seems to be Barking Irons. I'm sure of their prices but I'll start using them. The owner is great and was pleasant to deal with when buying my last pistol (not a 1911).

Is it my computer or did you time travel 4 minutes into the future?

Honestly, it's stupid to do it any other way than a trust. Pass on these weapons and let your family enjoy them instead of having to forfeit them when you die.

I bought local at Bowies. You have to, sorta. You can buy online but then they have to transfer it to a local dealer. That's another $200 right there.

I do not recommend using Bowies. Big Boy Arament and Landrys Guns are the best dealers to use around BR.

I paid MSRP for my can, just over $1100. Well, paid half as a deposit and other half when I get approved. There was a lot of uncertainty going around when I purchased.

My iPad shows the same thing. Weird. I think it's doing it across the board. I swear I remember reading a post on the OT about time traveling 4-5 minutes into the future.

Also....if anybody is interested. Sgammo is loading up inventory right now. They have everything from 62gr penetrator, target, plinking, defensive' and match. Pretty decent prices too. Don't know about shipping.

Thanks. Haha, funny u say that about Bowies. I worked there when I was in school. I'm in Texas now anyways. I'm sure there are plenty of places round here to start the process. Appreciate the info.

Nah. I was done in 2006. Name doesn't ring a bell. And that was when Cabelas and Bass Pro were moving into town. I thought for sure they wouldn't last. But they do have a loyal customer base.

I want one but with prices almost below $100 on most lowers I can't see spending $137 even for a rare one like this

Whats these "anti rotation" pins I've been seeing? Just another money grab or do they serve a purpose?

Some rifles, if you push them hard enough the pins begin to walk out. I guess this is an attempt to correct this.

I had always heard that they were for select fire. Maybe on full auto, the pin would have a tendency to walk out?

Man, the more I see prices fall the more I regret getting the gen when I did. How much would I be paying for my configuration now?
