I not looking to win a beauty pageant with mine.

I point the gun where I want to shot, I use my scope to acquire the target, I pull the trigger, gun goes bang, target falls.

It didn't matter it was spikes, DD, mega, etc.........

The beefier stock looks good with the forearm. Balanced look.

There is a great thread on officer.com in the firearm section. If you Google "so you want to buy an AR" you can find it (on phone now so no link). The nfo is a bit dated but just as relevant as ever before. It not only tells you why this is better than that.

It also says that if want to plink around, an Olympic is perfect for you. Again, it's just the best breakdown I've seen and it's several years old at this point in time. The author is Jwise I believe.

Carson, isn't necessarily meant for you but everyone. However, everybody can gain something from reading it.

It was without a doubt the first review I read. I bought a CMMG because of it. Sold it for a profit and then bought a LMT. Sold it and nearly doubled my money thanks to the 2008 election. Luckily, I graduated and have a job now and I don't have to sell guns to fund others.

So you want to buy an AR, huh?

Also the first thread I ever read. Great information.

Thanks for linking it. I knew it was popular but I may have just told yall that the sky is blue. Regardless, if by any chance that someone has not read it, read it.

ICS.

Who did you go with for your barrel and gas block on your .300blk?

Daniel Defense. Really thinking about chopping the rail and running an adjustable gas block for a very very quiet nighttime gun.

You did Daniel Defense for both barrel and gas block? Did you buy a complete upper or put it together yourself?

It was a complete upper. I was really attracted to the barrel as it is hammer forged. I am not disappointed by any means either. I want to try a Noveske 8" or AAC 8" too.

So how does our PSA deal rank? Hopefully better than Olympius and DPMS.

Very interesting. I haven't seen those yet, just been mulling it around my head really. I'm just worried about clearance issues.

I've never heard a bad thing about any of their products at all. They are on par with BCM Imo. Granted, my time with BCM is limited and my hands on time with PSA is even less, I like both a lot.

Both are a good buy in my book.

I bought a Windham weaponry about 2 years ago and I love it.

I built a complete PSA loser and am waiting to get a complete PSA upper.

I have a seekin, 3 spikes, and a mega lower that I really like.

I plan on getting a set of all the different spike lowers, a reaper, a stag, a grizzly, and a few dozen of various other brands for the next oh shite craze.
