I have a BCM mod 4 on my 300 BO which I really like. If you ever do a short barrel get a PRI gas buster. I didn't think they were worth the money until my KX3 blew gunpowder and a bunch of gas back in my face with a plain jane CH.

Have you thought about USGI mags? I know Pmags are cool and all but USGI mags work and can be found pretty easily. I have purchased probably 10K rounds of 223 since December and I have probably averaged around .40 a round. I have been buying most of my 223 from Cabelas. Paid less than 1K for 3000 rounds last week for steel case 55 grn HP Herters.
