Oh yea. We ordered 8 between five of us. And that was a couple days into it I think.
I just cant believe the Brownells inventory tracker was so bad. I know nobody could be ready for what happened, but their computers just crashed and screwed everyone supposedly.

One of the problems with pre-orders, I guess. Usually their inventory tracker is fairly up to date, but with the pre-order there wasn't any inventory to track so I guess they just went with it.
I ordered on 4 Jan. Wasn't expecting near the front of the line, but was expecting to hear something by now.

I bought my upper from this guy on Craigslist. While I am not vouching for the guy in any way I did meet him face to face to make the transaction and he seems like a genuine guy just looking to sell some parts. I think he does this on the side to make some extra cash. I have no idea if he would ship the item but if you are interested I guess the worst you could do is ask.
AGAIN, the guy seemed really cool and we talked about all the sh*t going down with a possible AWB and the terrible weapons restrictions they have where he lives in MD but I am not vouching for him - I met him once. He may entertain offers, I bought for less than what he is asking for these - best thing is they come with a BCG and CH.

Local shop has m&p 15 optics ready $1200, m&p 10 for $1700. Federal xm855 $14 for 20, FMJ $12 for 20. Hornady 5.56 match grade $40 for 50.

Did you fellas see that Daniel Defense announced an integrally suppressed DDM4 in 300 AAC Blackout? They permanently weld the suppressor (5.7 inches), so that you only require one stamp for a suppressed SBR (10.3 inch barrel + suppressor length=16 inches overall). Only problem is that MSRP is going to be around $3000.

Does not say what the bcg is but that really is not an issue, buy that then you can upgrade the bcg (if not DD) later.

Will you need a tax stamp for it? It's only a 14.5 inch barrel.

You can get a 14.5" but you will have to permanently attach a 2" flash hider/compensator to make it 16.5".
But anyone can buy the barrel. Don't need a stamp to buy barrels, you just need it to register the lower as a SBR if you don't extend it.

already has a flash hider on it. How would I extend that further?
