Ancient Alien Theorists may have questionable interpretations of historical facts, but they do base most of their theories on actual historical evidence.

We get it. You think your clever because you called the Bible fake. You don't believe in God so you think you are superior to others, is that what you want to hear?

While you can question the divine intervention that is played up in the Holy Bible, you cannot question the fact that many of these characters (King David, King Solomon, Jesus, etc.) are non-fictional people who lived thousands of years ago.

I can rationalize it since the bible, whether true or exaggerated or completely fictitious, has had a heavy influence on actual history.

Oh that little miserable SOB certainly will. I've never seen a group of people who were so intent at hating a group, simply because they have different beliefs, than atheists. They go out of their way to push their atheistic beliefs on you, and if you ask what made them not become Christian, they will tell you that they don't like other people pushing their beliefs on them.

The 2nd most hypocritical group next to liberals.

Yeah, it took me a second to get what he was saying. I would say most atheists really believe the Bible was just made up in the Dark Ages.

Seriously? Do you KNOW history? Sure there are many things recorded in the Bible which have no other corresponding account to back them up, but there are significant amounts of history in the Bible which do have corresponding writings to confirm.

You don't even know how the series will play out but you assume to.

I read the title as

quote:

history channel 10 part series: the blade

Had no idea what that would be about, but it sounded a lot more interesting than this thing I already know a shite ton about (nothing wrong with the bible, it's just that I prefer these things to be on more obscure topics so it's more interesting)

Fictional History

I'm sure you are trolling, but I'll play along.

Almost athird of the world are Christians. That is over 2 billion people who believe that at least part of the bible is true. Jews make up another 13 million people that believe in the majority of the old testament.

As others have said there are numerous historical accounts backed by scholars.

The bible is made up both stories and historical accounts collected over a thousand years. To simply call the entire book "fantasy" is moronic to say the least.

hbt couldn't get to his computer fast enough on this one.

We get it bro. You don't believe in the Bible.

At least don't sound so ignorant that it's all fictional. Most atheists usually have common sense. Which typically includes a little bit of history.

I'm atheist and I still believe much or most of the bible is grounded in historical fact. I dont know anyone who questions whether David or Solomon existed.
