ever since I started becoming a degenerate sportsbettor and following the NFL, I've personally thought the Broncos and Niners are the 2 best teams in the NFL. and that hasn't changed.

Now I shuffle 3-6 sometimes...

Niners and Broncos have very impressive metrics in very important areas. Yards per pass attempt, yards per pass attempt allowed, etc

One more thing about the Niners... they're so fundamentally sound. their tackling and low turnover rate.

Would be an epic SB and one of the few teams that truly scare me as a 49er fan

Washington has more rushing yards with their running combo going into today. Pretty sure this will be taken over by Minnesota (who were third).

Top 2.

Nah. I am not even sure Kaepernick is better than Alex Smith (who is fringe top 10 in his own right) at this moment.

Well yeah everyone thought that earlier in the season before they got their shite packed in by Eli.

Who cares, they will punish you for 60 minutes. Unbelievable at how physical they are on defense.

maybe they don't have a top 10 QB, but the numbers dictate they have a top 10 passing game.

This is largely irrelevant because Alex Smith was wildly efficient and no longer affects games. You can only use the small sample size of Kaepernick.

True but if BB can't make him look bad why do you think anyone else will?

In he time he has played you can't say he hasn't been in the top 1/3rd of the League.

if not the best running game... 2nd or 3rd best...

2nd in yards per rush, 2nd in yards per game. etc

Yeah, I would think third best, but it is still pretty elite.

Kafka, Alex Smith was having a great year. He was up very similar numbers to RG3. He was excelling in his "game manager" role. He had a YPA of 8 and a completion percentage of 70%.

Alex Smith maintained elite efficiency in a diminished capacity. To me, that only for sure puts him behind the big four and the next tier of Eli, Romo, Ben, and Ryan. After, you could list a number of guys to be #9. There are literally like 8 QB's in contention for that spot.

Alex Smith was doing his part in helping being a really good team.

I guess it's a good think the Rams aren't going to the playoffs then.

At the end of the day it's about Harbaugh, not who the QB is. Alex Smith was absolute trash before he became the coach.

The point is that Kaepernick is not invincible. There will be some good defenses in the playoff.

Whether or not Alex Smith was shite before Harbaugh is irrelevant. He was above average in the last year and a half. Above average = fringe top 10.

Kap is far from invincible but he's playing very well for a QB of his experience and he simply has more talent than Alex Smith both in his arm and on his feet. What he doesn't have is Alex's experience. Will that come back to bite the 49ers? Maybe. But as a 49er fan I'd rather play the guy who can do more, especially when your head coach is a QB guru who can fill in the blanks for him.

No choke just a biased called game. Brady spikes the ball like a little bitch after sf calls a legit to and no flag for unsportsmanlike. But then them refs have to make it up to the ducking pretty boy primadonna pussy with a horseshite PI call at the goalline.
