DO NOT EAT AT A RESTAURANT IN ST LOUIS city proper. The laxity of enforcement of health codes would amaze and frighten you. A kitchen staff being told that a "screen" door needs to be in place to keep vermin out is a WDF moment to them.

My wife and I ate at the first 2 listed just this week. After one of the meals, I had quick bathroom problems. Never again.

Not altogether shocked to see Catfish Cabin on the list for the Monroe region. I went there for a work lunch a few weeks ago and the place smelled like a nursing home. I also have yet to figure out how onion rings can have a stale texture.

The basic moral of that list is don't eat Asian food. I don't do buffets and I was at Jack's last month and didn't have any issues. I'm sure if that po boy could talk, though... yikes.

I remember back in the 90s there was a place in Shreverport called Taste of China. It became known as TASTE of RATS and was eventually shut down by the feds
