very casual. cargo jorts would have no problem getting past the hostess.

There aren't many places that have a dress code anymore. I've seen people in shorts at Commander's Palace.

If you know you are going somewhere that you'll spend 100 plus on,,, dress like you've been somewhere besides applebys.
I've never felt overdressed... If I ever was it's still not a bad thing... The opposite however, wellmjust don't be that guy.
