There have been much bigger bands than Depeche Mode that have played at the Varsity.

Depeche Mode spent a week or two in New Orleans filming background projections for the new tour in and around the Marigny Opera House. It's plausible they could schedule a world tour warm up gig in LA as they have filmed music videos there before and are fond of NOLA. But the Varsity in BR seems like a stretch. I have heard no rumors of it on the DM websites either.

Perhaps it's a contemporary of theirs. OMD is touring as well next year. I am officially out of my mind curious. When would tickets for this even go on sale Doc?
