Watching the replay of the LSU vs. Chatt. basketball game from last night has me wondering where are some of the Tiger b-ball players these days...
Torris Bright, Brian Beshara, Jabari Smith, Ronald Dupre, and Lamont Roland. They were part of the team that went to sweet 16 with Stromie Swift. Smith and Swift were a great duo down low and I would make a case that they had as much talent on that squad as the Final Four team that featured Big Baby, Mitchell, Tyrus and Company.

Appreciate the info. I knew he played ball overseas for a few years.

How about where Big John Williams? I have a jersey of his. Jose Vargas? Derrick Taylor? Oliver Brown? Bernard Woodside? Anthony Wilson? Ricky Blanton?

Ricky Blanton is the color guy along side Jim Hawthorne.

Blanton attends lsu games reguarly. Not sure if he's on the coaching block anymore. He's always stayed close to the program and will be even closer now with a former tiger at the helm

Blanton is a great guy. Class.

Here are 2 of them and their coach from earlier this year. Stanley is HUGE!

Dupree was in training camp with the Griz, but didn't make the regular season roster.

great pic of stanley, CJ, and the ole ball coach. Attended my first LSU basketball game when Shaq was a skinny freshman. That team was loaded with talent with Shaq, Vernell, Stanley, Maurice Williamson and Chris Jackson.

Earth-Shattering observation you've made, there.

Chris Jackson committed to LSU on the day of my birth. On the first page of the Morning Advocate sports page. :csb:

Wow i miss this era of LSU basketball. I was at Dale's basketball camps, running home from school to catch this team on tv during the tourneys. Was
at the game vs GaTech in the SE Regionals...John Salley had 2 straight dunks to start the game and i was seriously worried until John Williams got warmed up. Damn good basketball.

Clarence is in the lake charles area. He looks more like an offensive tackle these days.
