Battlefield Questions

I'm tired of the retarded game that is known as Call of Duty Black Ops 2. I haven't had Battlefield 3 in at least 5 months. I traded it in to save money on NCAA/NHL/Madden..
How many expansion packs are out now? Are they free yet for non season pass holders? When is the next Battlefield supposed to drop?

Theres Back to Karkand which was good but I only really liked them on rush. Close Quarters was a good change of pace but is the same as COD but not as cramped and forced CQC. Armored Kill sucked because the maps were too big and there are not enough vehicles. From what I've seen of the newer maps they are good. It took me a while to learn them but they are a lot like the default medium sized maps like Seine, Bazaar, etc.

Just get the vanilla game and then decide if you want DLC. The only two DLC's worth it are Back 2 Karkand and Aftermath.
ETA: But, if you don't get Close Quarters, you are missing out on 10 new weapons.

I left BF3 shortly after CQC came out. I had Back 2 Karkand and CQC..I don't know if my dumbass deleted it off my PS3 or not. Hopefully I didn't.
Would it be worth the money to pick up BF3 again after trading in BLOPS 2?

You can redownload the DLC from PSN for free if you had it before. I play BF3 a lot and I saw that Jim Morrison was on last night...my little brother plays sometimes, too. The Aftermath DLC is pretty good.

nah, BF isn't like COD in that a new one comes out every year.
BF3 will be active for a while. I've even heard BC2 is moderately active still
