Put a for sale sign on it when you get it home.

Make sure you have all your coast guard required stuff in it.

eta: also if u were born after jan 1, 1984, you need to have a boater safety course if you're the driver (without someone else who has it) if stopped by green jeans and they ask for it, it's $250 if u don't have it

Keep extra parts in the boat, fuel filter, spark plugs, fuel line, etc. and tools to fix that type of stuff too

Get an inspection sticker for your boat trailer.

Oh and get all your shite prepared before you get to the ramp

I didn't know about it either until someone started a thread about it on here earlier. Someone said the sheriffs department was at a boat ramp writing tickets for people that didn't have one.
