Ok so spoilers
So Charlie gets killed by the shape shifters... Shape shifter goes on as Charlie for a few episodes... Then Dunham kills the shapeshifter/Charlie.... He gone!
Next episode Charlie is there going about his job as normal.... Did me and my gf miss something? No explanation, he is just back??

They taped that episode before he died I think. They just randomly threw it in the mix and made us :dwi:

you didn't miss anything. i had the same wtf? moment that you did. it was just a stand alone episode they created before he died and just decided to throw it in whenever they felt like and not give us an explanation. after that one it wont be referenced again and will carry on like it never happened

oh ok, I know what happened.
that was actually shot for season one and remained unaired until season 2.
like others have said, they just threw it into season 2 randomly for some strange reason.
chalk that up to FOX execs being stupid.
it reminds me of how they aired episodes of Firefly out of order.
