I'm dropping the Cardinals D. I have the Giants D, who plays @Atlanta, then @Baltimore.

I would prefer to find a better match up then Giants D @ Atlanta this week. I'm thinking Miami vs Jacksonville. Who would you pick up?

Edit: I know... Huge picture is huge.

STL is at home against the Vikings. No brainer man.

That was my initial thought. AP has been in super-beast mode lately. I don't know if I trust STL vs AP and the subsequent play action passing game, though MIN is sans Percy Harvin so I guess that helps STL.

I would argue their opponent and go for Minnesota's D.

Harrison Smith has big play ability. Robison tips a lot of passes. Jared Allen should catch fire at one point or another.

Most importantly, the Rams have a shite offense.

I would check to see the number of forced turnovers this year and go for the team highest amount. Biggest upside possible in your defense.

What are your thoughts on starting the Giants D @ Atlanta over one of the FA options?

I would probably take any of the four top free agent defenses listed over the Giants unless the Giants have significantly more sacks and turnovers forced than those four teams.

Cannot really go wrong with any of them. San Diego forces more turnovers, so they have the highest upside, but the toughest opponent. Rams, Dolphins, and Vikings are all pretty good. All decent plays.

Giants have forced 34 turnovers and have 31 sacks.
San Diego has forced 24 turnovers and have 25 sacks.
St Louis has forced 16 turnovers and has 39 sacks.
Miami has forced 12 turnovers and has 37 sacks.
Minnesota has forced 17 turnovers and has 31 sacks.

To me, the Giants have the hardest match up, and it is an away game. Everyone else has a home game(except Minnesota who is @Stl), and the best d of the potential pickup group is San Diego. Miami and Rams tie for easiest matchup. I lean towards Miami still because they allow the second least points, while playing against the worst scoring offense, but they have forced the least number of turnovers.

I picked up Tennessee a few weeks ago when I saw that Sanchez lost the starting job. Need to check on his status. They had 21 pts allowed, 2 INTs, 2 sacks, and a Td last week against Indy. Thoughts?

I just picked up Miami. I have the niners. And I didn't pick up St. Louis because I have AD.
