So I will be moving to Houston in January and am looking for any and all places to eat and drink. I like all kinds of food and I am looking for cool places to go out. So hit me with your best suggestions

Depends on your price range... I like spots like Cyclone Anaya off West Grey. But you can go upscale closer to River Oaks like Americas, BackStreet, Tony's etc. You won't go wrong.

I kind of like the small pub/ gastropub thing we're seeing more of. That said, HayMerchant/ Underbelly near Midtown and nearby in the Heights, Sheperd Park Draught House, Plonk Bistro, Petrol Station are all very good...

Try BB's in the Heights. Studemont/White Oak. Cool place,good food and reasonable prices.
