questions about ruling concerning the players

So should/does the NFL somehow compensate the 4 players involved for lost wages/unemployment? Specifically for Hargrove, wasn't he released after the suspensions were announced? Can he now sue the NFL for lost wages? Sorry if this is stupid and inacurate.

The statement was so crawfished and 2 faced i have no idea. Look at it in pieces:
"
Who the frick knows what any of that means
quote:
Tagliabue affirms factual findings of Commissioner Goodell...concludes Hargrove, Smith, Vilma "engaged in conduct detrimental"
quote:
vacates all player discipline.
"
quote:
Unlike Saints' broad organizational misconduct, player appeals involve sharply focused issues of alleged individual player misconduct in several different aspects.
quote:
My affirmation of Commissioner Goodell's findings could certainly justify...the issuance of fines.
quote:
However, this entire case has been contaminated by the coaches and others in the Saints' organization."

I agree with you Breesus. I think this slightly favors Saints. Maybe beefs up Vilmas defamation suit?

Perhaps. Hopefully Vilma presses ahead since his name was not cleared even though his penalty was vacated. Don't know if wiping away the penalty will give the league enough ammo to argue before Berrigan that the case is somehow moot and is now falls entirely within the confines of the CBA. If that argument can be successful, then there is the "brilliance" in Tags' ruling.

still publicly accusing vilma. I wouldnt say it beefs up the suit but nothing has changed in terms of the suit.
