-eliminate salary caps and floors. Maybe not minimum salary, but minimum team salary, max team salary, and max player salary/contract all go
-revamp MLB playoffs. 4 teams from each league. No divisions, strictly goes by best record. More doubleheaders. All-Star game no longer decides WS home field.
-Shift MLS schedule more in line with the rest of the world
-Goes against the rules but, old bats back to college baseball.
-agreed with Baloo, expand the NBA court.
-make some sort of reform on NFL rules pertaining to DB and WR contact. Something to balance out the passing game.

Not big on the rule to begin with because it would be exploited. Even with this change I don't like it. It would cut back on exploits but penalize legit injuries. Its just one of those things that sucks but would require too much extra BS to do away with.

If a pitcher only faces one batter, he must be placed on the 15 day DL.

Upon further thought.
MLB- DH rule gone. Shorten season to where it ends on Labor Day and the top four teams from each league play in the playoffs. No division winners.
NBA- shorten the season. Start on Christmas Day.
NFL- get rid of divisions. Top 6 teams from each conference play in the playoffs.

NFL- do away with the new pussified pass interference rules, punters can be flagged/fined for flopping
NBA- must be three years removed from high school (see what i did here? improves NBA AND CBB), shorten season to begin on Christmas every year

I'd do away with all guaranteed contracts in all sports. There is no profession in the country where an employee is guaranteed a job beyond at the most one yr. Most are earn your pay jobs. Forget the "risk factor". Most professional athletes work less than one full yr & earn in one yr what they'd never earn anywhere else in several. Shut down the womens' basketball league would be my only other mandate.

1) I really just don't like baseball and it's all the sports networks talk about all summer. I also like to see real top 10 plays, pick any day in July and the top 10 will have 5 diving catches. They aren't THAT great.
2) I think both World Cups will be major failures. Russia's transportation is horrible and Qatar is not going to fulfil their promises.
ETA: I'm 100% convinced that both countries paid for votes. USA finished second in the voting to Qatar so I will give us that one. I think England was in the running for Russia's.

Hockey to be played by 3 teams simultaneously -- 3 nets in a triangle at the center of a roughly Wankel rotor-shaped rink.
Lou Holtz and Dick Vitale go into the Thunderdome. (then the doors are welded shut and everybody leaves)
World Cup skiing covered the same way the Europeans do it -- all the racers, good announcers.
