And you are a tide tard. I'm sure he'll hook you up with a good policy. Give you the Gino Toretta special.

If he wasnt such a crybaby tool/piece of white trash, he would get more attention

Seriously though, he's a very efficient college quarterback, but will be lucky to start more than one NFL game ever at the very least

He fits perfectly in the alabama system. I can't see him being a good NFL QB in todays game. He lives off the play action pass and is one of the best in CFB at it, but I think he'll need to go to a run first NFL squad (aren't too many of those, though)

100% right.

I seriously laughed out loud when the OP said something about a 1st rd pick.

I'd love to see McCarron behind an OL that is shaky vs. NFL d-linemen. His butterfly passes just float in the air half the day. His long throw to Cooper in the SECCG took 3 and a half minutes off the clock. The DB was stupid and bit on something....I'm still not even sure what he bit on.

Kenny Bell is half a quadriplegic now because they send that bag of bones over the middle for some reason.

So, in other words....

@ this thread.

Simply an over correction to make up for the fact the media hyped him to much.

Win the BCS CG with a solid performance and he will get the "winner" and "leader" labels that all QBs who win titles get.

He only threw 200 more yards than... Zach Mettenberger.

With 1 more game

I should have known people were going to misunderstand my point. My OP wasn't am argument for McCarron's skills or lack therof in the NFL, it was about the idea that a quarterback as solid as he has been is completely overlooked as any sort of factor whatsoever in big games. When opposing fanbases and others scout upcoming games against Alabama, it's 100% about slowing down Bama's running game and nothing else. It's as if people think all McCarron is capable of is handing the ball off to the running backs. The fact that ND's secondary is shaky doesn't matter but because Alabama's secondary is vulnerable then Gholson's going to throw the ball downfield at will while Alabama has no 2nd option if they can't run the ball at will.

Because his coach is Saban, and no other reason, just more bama arse kissing. Dude might not get drafted by the 4th. Game manager, nothing more.

If you can't name 3 QB's better than AJ

Because that's how Alabama wins. They haven't had 1 game all year where they've been held under 100 TDs rushing.

AJ lives off a strong running game, the play action pass (setup by the run game), and good play calling with timely screens.

Id say it was probably because he threw for 2700 yards, 26 TD's and had a rating of 173.1 while leading a team to a SEC championship and a BCSCG birth.
