I refused to see it in theatre. Waited until someone ripped it for me and I watched it only once ever. Seen the others dozens and dozens of times all the way through.

How old are you people that pick Last Crusade over Raiders??? Children?

LC is good, but there is NO comparison to the greatness that is Raiders. NONE.

Raiders>Last Crusade>Templer of Doom

Temple would have better if they had done a few things already mentioned here: rewrite the life raft out of airplane scene to be more believable, nix the gross out dinner scene altogether, and fire Short Round. The rest of it is pretty good Indy movie stuff. I like the occult elements, and especially the fact that Indiana uses a bit of voodoo at the end himself (to get the Shankara Stones to heat up and burn through the bag). That DOES kinda create a plot hole for Raiders where Indy is seen as an unbeliever in mystical arts. (even though chronologically ToD happens before Raiders).

LC was a great "Last Hurrah" for the series. It had some problems with it though. In Raiders, Brody is seen as the older mentor to Indiana. He's smart, experienced, and just as capable as Indiana in the research department. Indy just does the field work. In LC they reduced him to a clueless, bumbling, comic relief character. This should have been our first indication of JL and SS sliding in to kiddy movie mode.

I'm just thankful that they didn't make a fourth Indiana Jones movie. It's pretty clear now that they would have royally fricked it up. Better to let things be done and over with the shot of Indy and his dad riding off in to the sunset.

Mind...blown.... i never knew this. What was the purpose of making it a prequel?

Raiders is the better movie but I like Last Crusade best. As a kid, Temple was my favorite just as Ninja Turtles 2 was but as you get older, you grow out of the slap stick crap. I still like Temple I just wish they muted Capshaw like Nova in Planet of the Apes.

Love this one. Still, gotta give the edge to Raiders.

This. It is the perfect action film. I might have watched it close to 100 times in my life (3 of those were in the theater when it first came out) - and I still never get tired of it.

If anything, I wish I could go back in time and experience it for the first time again and forget everything about the movie.
