Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power

Anyone read this book? It is pretty good, if you have not.

Are there any current political figures that you feel approximate Jefferson and his insight and leadership?

LOL..Wut?

The closest Bill Clinton will ever be to Thomas Jefferson is his middle name.

Actually, I think Clinton and Jefferson are a great comp, as TJ never found a political issue he couldn't eloquently take both sides of. The reason so many people like to quote him is the Jefferson often found himself on every possible side of the issues of the day. He was politically malleable.

Slick Willie had nothing on Jefferson when it came to always being on the popular side of an argument.
