What's our record if Daniel started every game this year...

Hate Brees? I love Brees. It was just a question running through me head and I wanted to see what people thought if we had a lesser QB playing but our brilliant head coach steering the ship.

I was actually thinking about this yesterday. Honestly, I have a hard time deciding who would do better. While Brees has won us some games, he sure has lost us a few as well. That's what you have to consider, Daniel probably won't be the reason you'll win a game but he probably wouldn't be the reason you lose it either.
ETA: I know that will be construed as me hating Brees and wanting him to bench him, which I want neither. Just pointing out the facts. I think Payton's game time adjustments are more important to this teams success than Brees skills at this point and that's been pretty evident this season. Brees is still the man, but asking him to go win you every game is a damn talk order that has obviously taken a toll on him.

And t obe fair to Drew, I think that it's a tall order for any QB. If you put any QB through what Drew has been through (and the team) this season, I think that you would be hard pressed to find a QB that would handle the situation as admirably or perform as well in these circumstances.

4 or 5 wins maybe. it's already a shitty year with all the distractions.. it would only be worse mentally for this team if the backup qb was the starter.
