Stoker's a little rough around the edges. I used to interview him for the student paper every now and then, and he was always nice, just a little gruff.

It wasn't really a secret that he rubbed some people the wrong way even though he was a fine coach. Peve was like the exact opposite of that..super nice, affable dude.

I agree on your assessments of both. I have known Stoker since his playing days. He can be gruff but I have always gotten along with him. Good coach and a good player back in the day.

Peve is a super guy to deal with...I am sorry it did not work out for him. I am glad he appears to be landing on his feet somewhere.

Wow, that's impressive. He trades Nachitoches for Lexington.

Good for him.

Does that include crap about the underage girl he was supposedly messing with up there? You know them religious folks - they love the 3 S's - Shout Sing & Screw.

LA College is probably as good as it needs to get for him.

Really glad to see that happen for him. He's a good guy and deserved something good happening.

Texas Tech's OL coach would be a good hire, they chose Peveto over him last time, not sure why. He'd been incredibly successful at Abileine Christian. Blanking on his name right now though.

Chris Thomsen will serve as interim HC at Texas Tech through the bowl game. You are right, he was incredibly successful at Abilene Christian. He placed more players in the NFL during his 5 years at ACU than many D1 schools.

That comes as no surprise - about him or LC for that matter. Bunch of sexually repressed hypocrites on "holy hill".

My brother was on faculty there within the past couple of years. Dunn's sexual transgressions are widely known but never "discussed" (wink wink). Admins have a kind of "let's all look the other way and pretend nothing's happening and treat it as vile rumors (from the debil)" type situation. So long as he's winning, that is.

That's a strange bunch at that little college in Pineville. Always has been. I went there for one semester in the early 70's and quickly realized it was not for me. Transferred to LSU.

Later, they showed some interest in my joining their faculty. After going to the campus, I politely declined. Place hasn't changed.

Anyway, NSU could do a whole hell of a lot better than Dennis Dunn.
