Create an All 2000s Five-Man Rotation (non-Cy Young Award Winners)

This should be fun for baseball fans on the MSB, which I consider the best sports board on Tiger Droppings.

Rules:

1)You must pick one pitcher from each division in each league. Yes, this gives you six pitchers. To get around this, once you have picked your top 5 starters, you must then take your favorite closer from the 6th division. - for the sake of not being repetitive, should you forgo picking an AL east starter, Mariano Rivera is out of play as closer. He is to be left out of this list because 99% of us would agree that he is the best closer of the '00s and of all-time. So to give the list a little more personal feel, please exclude Mo!

2) You can only pick a person once, as in you can't pick '01 and '02 of the same player... you must take the year of said player which you consider the best.

3) You can not pick a player in a year in which they won the Cy Young award. This is the kicker and what makes this fun and more difficult. A little research is necessary, but some of these pitchers are going to jump out at you.

4) List the pitchers in the order you would have them in your rotation.

5) Each listing should look as follows
1. Name, year, team name, division, stats you would like to show to prove why he was picked

I am interested in seeing everyone's choices, and if there is enough response to the OP, we may be able to have a playoff to find the MSB's All 2000s Five-Man Rotation. You don't have to argue about why you selected each player, we can discuss that if this takes off and we need a playoff to determine the MSB's choices.

****** I will admit, I had a very difficult time deciding between my pitchers in the ALW and ALC

I could have very easily chosen 2012 Justin Verlander in place of 2009 Felix Hernandez, and chosen 2006 Francisco Rodriguez over 2004 Joe Nathan. I decided to go with Joe Nathan over K-Rod purely because of WAR, being that 2012 Verlander and 2009 Hernandez had identical WAR. I chose to use WAR as my placement value because as I completed my rotation in the order I would start them, it just so happened that they were in order from highest to lowest WAR.

I like WAR, but to me W-L is just as important as it ever was, so it helped in my decision that King Felix was 19-5 over Verlander's 17-8.
