Killed my first deer of the year Saturday!

I've been in a hunting club every deer season since I've started hunting. Well this year I didn't get in one so I've been hunting public land. This past Saturday morning it finally happened I shot a 3 1/2 year old nanny. I don't think I've ever been that excited about killing a deer

What kind of rifle and scope is that? I'm looking to get something similar to that.

It's a Simmons 8 point 3-9x50. I love it. It picks up good light right at dark.

yeah, that was my thinking too. Closer to 3 1/2 months. Not hating though, should be real fine eating.
