Curtis people will never understand how different Rummel & Curtis are, and what huge advantages Curtis has over rummel. Not so much holding back any more as they have put restrictions on that, but Curtis having a middle school is really the biggest thing.

The way Curtis is actually ran by the football coach....practices & meetings during school hours, nothing is really off limits. Rummel actually has an administration that has to look out for the best interests of all the kids. 10% of the kids at school play football whereas its like 60-70% of all male students at JC play, maybe more. Football first there, everything else is 2nd.

Example: one of the guys you listed was actually the valedictorian, and was held back. shite Chris Jackson was extremely intelligent too. Just shows where their motives lie.

ehh... I dunno about this. Maybe during "activity hour" (band, cheerleading, football, or PE)

Curtis got that penis envy, bra. They feel inferior because all of their titles are cheapened by playing down. That little void in their hearts. Thus, they try and make up for that by slamming schools like Rummel. There are 3 classifications separating the schools. 3.

Both schools should embrace their roles as top programs in Jefferson Parish instead of going at each other like they are rivals

I can't ever remember sitting in history and JT walking in like "Jackson, Spadoni.... you're needed on the practice field".... like I said, every student had "activity period" and that's probably what you're thinking of. In that period if you were in a band, cheerleading, dance type thing you went to it, football players went to football. if you weren't in anything it was just PE

Yea that's what I'm talking about. The middle school actually has practices during that time. That shite doesn't happen at rummel.

yeah, I think at the HS campus the players worked out or ran or had meetings during that period then practiced after school. Academically, the school is a complete joke. Fontainebleau was about 150 x's more challenging.

Oh I know they do. I never saw them that much when I was a kid, or maybe they just didn't venture out to Kenner much. Either way, I know the whole recruiting thing has picked up in recent years.

I can assure you that if Curtis had to go through the 5A playoffs they would not make it to the dome every year. It isn't a very big accomplishment putting a beat down on school's that no one has ever even heard of.

more people in football have heard of ECA... than have heard of Barbe or Rummel? no disrespect to the bucs or raiders....

just glad I didn't have to listen to that riff the barbe band use to play in the 80s....

Your argument makes little sense. Think of the teams rummel went through to get to the dome. Curtis played a bunch of scrubs. And I'm sure you think they could dominate west Monroe.

It's like a big 10 team playing one game a year and claiming they could beat the sec champion.

No, I definitely am not downing Rummel and saying they are not a quality opponent. I would just rather if I have the time on a Friday night go watch Curtis. Let me take a step back, if I am a person coming in from out of town and wanna watch Louisiana's best because I love the game. Which of these programs would you choose to spend your three hours watching.....ask yourself?
