What would it take to make this game happen?

LE can prob let us in on some insight... any truth to the rumors that it won't happen simply because Roth hates JT and JCCS?

which ones? Cuz I think you're lying. Even if it were true, its like the mob. No one would go outside of the family and speak ill of the godfather.

I wish I knew.

The Curtis people will say he is scared. I don't really believe it has to do with being scared but that's just me.

You think it has anything to do with neither school wanting to lose guys to the other?

Among other things.

I think it's over blown by JC people cause they have trouble scheduling good teams. They think everyone should play them whenever and wherever on their own terms.

Rummel really has nothing to gain by playing them but I do agree they should play.

the fricking 4A principals we were in a district with back when I went there (Clark, Carver...) really fricked shite up. I think it was the Clark principal who said "we're tired of playing for 2nd place every year"

Except for games that count, District and playoffs. Curtis has never played in the State's highest classification, even when they were allowed.

Instead of 35 or however many state titles, Curtis would probably have about 15 or so. What's wrong with that? 15 state titles in the top classification is still the best program on the state.

JT Curtis' ego for national records kept Curtis from playing all the way up.

If JTC really wanted to play Rummel, he'd move his pompous arse up to 5A and play better competition every week.

Well right now he can't move up that far. In the past when they could, he probably should have but under the rules today it can't happen. I don't think Roth wants to play them either. This season it would have been a good game, but I think Curtis would still have won.

actually - the ring leader was the principal of a school that was beaten in the semis a few times by curtis..... and has since won titles since curtis left 4a.. but did not win any.. while curits was in 4a..

but their Nola district bretheren wanted them gone too..

This. Karr is arguably the best team in the state this year.

Don't really understand why anyone would be scared even fans or plyers and having been around JT for more than 20 years I can tell you none of the coached there especially JT are scared to play anybody in the country, much less Rummel. Having known Jay Roth for a while as well I can tell you he doesn't want to have anything to do with a sure loss to Curtis.
