I have a dream to see the QB who led my tigers to a national championship, throw a TD for my Seahawks, and if it just so happens to be a TD thrown against PP7...well...i wont know how to feel about that.

I don't feel bad for Flynn. What did he get a 3 year 19.5 million contract? Sit on the bench, preserve your body, and collect that check? Yes sir I will. Hell, I'd be the best damn cheerleader out there.

Only $10 MM is guaranteed. That sounds like a lot, but with over half of it taken by the government and an agent, plus another half million gone from paying two years of an NFL lifestyle (trainers, etc.), he'll bank about $3.5 MM. Sounds like a lot, but if he can't maximize this contract, or earn another big one, he'll just be another working stiff but with a nice retirement. Hardly living the dream.

3.5 million is more than most people even come close to making in their lifetime.

Dude really has it rough.

No kidding. Invest and you'll be fine. I'll sacrifice a lot of money to have full use of my body and mind.

Is this his 5th season? Its not like he wasnt making any money playing for the packers. He had 4 years with league minimum at the least. I dont have any friends making that their first year out of LSU.

Flynn is a competitor and I doubt he's happy or satisfied with being a backup. I'm sure he will get his chance. Russell Wilson is pretty darn good.
