Now that football season is over, who do you think will be the best baseball teams in the state this year?

West Monroe should gave a good team this year. A lot of returning starters.

Neville also has a lot of returning starters. West Ouacthita will be young but will surprise people. It will be a good district series between West Ouachita and Neville, as always.

As usual it'll be Barbe, Catholic, Jesuit, and probably West Monroe. Could be some surprises, though.

Easily the best lineup, do they have any studs at the top of the rotation? I know the ace signed with lSU last year.

I think Ouachita Parish will be a force this year with WM, Neville, West Ouachita, and OCS.

Do you think Country Day will be able to compete with OCS? Not many people have the past few years.

I doubt it. Country Day did have a great run last year and lost a close game in the semis but OCS has got to be the favorite.

With the new basketball playoff format going deeper into the year, Country Day could hurt pretty bad in the beginning of the year having 3 big time contributors on the basketball team which will hurt their seeding.

Realistically I expect CD to run the table in district and make it to the final four.

Oh how things have changed since my time at the school. I miss that 8 or 9 year streak.

Ends on the same day as last year.
